The Claus Clause

Finding the perfect place to get up-close and personal with Santa Claus becomes a priority as Christmas gets closer. Shopping centers are a convenient option, since Santa is usually available for a photo anytime during mall hours through Christmas Eve. The Cherry Creek mall, 3000 East First Avenue (www.shopcherrycreek.com), has a Polar Express-themed exhibit, but it will cost at least $17 to get a photo of your kid sitting with the jolly old elf. At FlatIrons Crossing, 1 West FlatIron Circle in Broomfield (www.flatironcross.com), Santa picture packages start at $19.99. But you can get a free 4x6 photo of your child sitting with Santa at Bass Pro Shops, 7970 Northfield Boulevard, from now through December 24, and the store’s Santa’s Wonderland display includes craft projects and an indoor skating rink – with no fee to use the skates. For more info, go to www.basspro.com.
