The tour's run has been extended by a couple of days this year, which should give you plenty of time to scope the ambience at the residence. "The theme is Christmas 1909," says Bozik, "and really, Christmas didn't become commercial till the '40s or '50s, so the decor is very understated. It's focused on a lot of handmade ornaments that I made, and we had children from a local school [Academia Ana Marie Sandoval] who made ornaments, which was very common at the time."

See the results at the residence, 400 East Eighth Avenue, through tomorrow; reservations are not accepted for the tours, which run daily from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Call 303-866-3682 for information.
Dec. 12-18, 10 a.m.-2 p.m., 2009
