Hit the Snow With the Pros

If all this Winter Dew Tour, Winter X Games and Winter Olympics business is stoking your kid's fire, then head up to the halfpipe and terrain park at Keystone this weekend, where amateur snowboarders and freeskiers ages 21 and under will compete for a spot at the Gatorade Free Flow Tour Finals in Vermont and a chance to ride against the pros at the Toyota Championship, February 4 to 7 at Mount Snow.

It's the first winter season for the Dew Tour's "Flow to Pro" amateur series, which brings superpipe and slopestyle contests to ten mountains across the country and has previously helped launch the careers of such young action-sports stars as skateboarder Chaz Ortiz and BMX rider Mike Spinner. Not quite ready for the big show? There's also a Junior Jam for beginning to intermediate riders ages thirteen and under.

The cost is $20, not including a lift ticket. For online registration and event details, visit www.allisports.com/events/keystone or call 630-908-6342.
