Jennifer Coolidge Has Got MILF

Like the character she played in American Pie, actress, comedian and original MILF Jennifer Coolidge digs younger guys, and says they seem to be the only ones asking her out. During her standup shows, Coolidge, who appears at the Comedy Works through the weekend, delves into stories about dating, sex and some of the changes she’s seen in Hollywood in over the years. She does have one particularly juicy dating story, she adds, “but you actually have to come to the show to hear it.”

Still, Coolidge says she doesn’t share every attribute with Stifler’s mom. “Just because people kind of project on you what they see in the movie, they think all sorts of stuff, like that I’m horny every minute of the day. It’s kind of hilarious.”

While she’s been acting for nearly two decades on TV and in comedies such as Legally Blonde, Best in Show, A Mighty Wind and For Your Consideration, more recently she took on a darker role, as an alcoholic drug addict in Werner Herzog’s Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call – New Orleans.

Coolidge will do two shows tonight, at 8 and 10 p.m.; she’ll be back on stage tomorrow at 8:30 and 10:30 p.m. and on Sunday at 7 p.m. Tickets are $23 tonight and tomorrow, $15 on Sunday. The Comedy Works is at 1226 15th Street; call 303-595-3637 for information.
