Everybody must get zoned: Kenny Be looks at Denver's new zoning rules

After almost a decade — starting with Blueprint Denver in 2002 and getting a big push from Mayor John Hickenlooper and planning director Peter Park in 2005 — the Herculean effort to update Denver's 1956 zoning rules is almost complete. The fourth and final draft of the city's new zoning code is now posted at www.newcodedenver.org, where residents are encouraged to comment on the draft. You can't access those comments on the city's site, though, so after you digest Kenny Be's critique of the code (don't be fooled by the cartoon format; he's done a serious study of the proposal), share your thoughts in the comments section below, where they can be read by all.
