There are these two guys, you see, named Gustave and Nhar. One of them is Belgian, and one of them is mute. And then...well, as noted by TimeOut New York, you just had to be there. The creations of traveling New York neo-vaudevillians Harrington and Kauffman, appearing for a three-night stand at Buntport Theater, are just really hard to describe. Theyre very, very funny and very strange, notes Buntports Evan Weissman. They use a lot of deadpan humor.

"Words make what they do sound hokey, but they are just really solid and quirky performers, he adds. We like them because they have an aesthetic similar to ours, so we appreciate that they do a lot with a little. And because of that, the Buntport troupe has been an avid supporter of the fringe-festing duo, who will perform Cabaret Terrarium, their third show at Buntport, today through Saturday at 8 p.m. We like bringing this kind of thing into Denver once in a while, Weissman says. We dont really get anything out of it, but we dig doing it.
You might dig it, too. Buntport is at 717 Lipan Street; admission is $13 to $16. For details, visit www.buntport.com or call 720-946-1388.
