This, declares Jesse Morreale, is where all the dive bar, rockabilly, East Colfax crowd crashes the Cherry Creek hood. Hes talking about Rockabilly and Ribs, which goes today from 2 to 7 p.m. and continues every Sunday through September 5 at Tambien, Morreales rollicking Mexican cantina at 350 Steele Street. We do this event for twenty weeks and do it for well over 10,000 people, and its a huge hit because the band lineup is great, the food is off the chain and cheap, and its a melting pot of really cool people, says Morreale, who along with exec chef Sean Yontz, also plans to rock Steele Street with a vintage car show, scooter rally and a Roller Dolls fundraiser as part of the summer fun.
