Afternoon Delight

What does Denver Cruisers guru Brad Evans think will happen at the community bike riders’ inaugural Sunday Funday Ride? He doesn’t have a clue. “There could be ten people or there could be a thousand,” he notes, but it really doesn’t matter, as long as a good time is had by all.

Beginning today at 1:30 p.m. at Great Divide Brewing, 2201 Arapahoe Street, and the Lobby, across the street at 2191 Arapahoe, this ride is costume-free, at least for the moment, and, Evans predicts, more family-friendly than the Cruisers’ Wednesday-night fetes on wheels; at least ten of the rides, which continue weekly through Labor Day, will also end up at the City Park Jazz Festival, where riders can disperse for a little music al fresco. Visit www.denvercruisers.com for details.
Sundays, 1:30 p.m. Starts: May 30. Continues through Sept. 25, 2010
