Different yoga instructors from some of Denver’s top studios take over instruction for the week and put together a yoga program lasting anywhere from an hour to ninety minutes and incorporating ashtanga, vinyasa, hatha, acroyoga and more. There’s a kids’ program, too, where parents can drop off the little ones to engage in arts and crafts, as well as live music. “People are always saying how fun it is to get out of the studio and do yoga with their feet in the grass, under the trees, with the sun shining on you,” Vienneau says.

Yoga Rocks starts today and runs each Sunday at 4 p.m. through September 19; participants should bring their own mats. (Some also bring picnic dinners so they can nosh after they stretch and enjoy City Park Jazz at 6 p.m. Admission is $10, and all proceeds go to Yoga World Reach.
