Take a Bite Out of LoDo
Foodniks can get their grub on tonight at twenty LoDo restaurants, all of which are taking part in LoDo Bites, a sip, sup, stroll and sampling affair that last year amassed a crowd of 800 hungry feedbags who stuffed their guts and ate their hearts out. “LoDo is blessed to be a neighborhood known for its culinary talent, so attendees will definitely be able to try new things, and I’m sure they’ll be blown away,” says Jeannie Wert, communications and events coordinator for the LoDo District.
From 5 to 9 p.m., participating restaurants, cafes and watering holes include everyone from Big Game, Dixons Downtown Grill and Vesta Dipping Grill to Mangiamo Pronto!, Bistro Vendôme, Organixx, Tavern Downtown and the Wynkoop Brewing Company. Each gathering place will dole out a variety of different bites, with some restaurants offering wine and beer specials, as well as handcrafted desserts.
Buy tickets in advance at Bouquets, 1525 15th Street, or at www.lodo.org. Tickets are $25 for LoDo District members, $30 in advance for the general public and $35 at the door. Proceeds benefit LoDo District Inc.
