Selby and chefs from thirty of Denvers best food temples will congregate today at Mile High Station, 2027 West Lower Colfax Avenue, for the annual culinary blowout, which raises funds to support the nonprofits mission to end childhood hunger. The bash kicks off at 5 p.m. and includes food samplings from the participating restaurants, plus beer, wine, a cocktail competition led by Steubens mixologist Sean Kenyon, live music from the Informants and a silent auction trumpeting everything from restaurant gift certificates and wines to a Shaquille O'Neal jersey. Tickets to the event are $75 per person every cent of which is donated to Share Our Strength and can be purchased at www.strength.org/denver.
