Dirty Rotten Scoundrels

As evidenced by Bob Saget’s post-Full House career, there’s an entire niche of people out there in the market for shock comedy; really, the guy’s whole shtick is pretty much based on unsettling sexual references to Kimmy Gibbler. And if you’re one of those filth-mongering folks, then Dirty, Rotten, Filthy, Funny will come as good news to you.

“All our comedians are doing the material and jokes they’re not allowed to do at other clubs,” says Jordan Wieleba, a sketch comedian with Fried Nothing, the group that’s putting on the event. The first show of its kind from Fried Nothing, DRFF got its inspiration from Wieleba watching comedians around town in varying stages of blue, perhaps reining in the material based on the venue. “We wanted to give them a chance to really cut loose and not have to worry about people being offended — which they will be,” says Wieleba, “but at least they’ll be expecting it.”

Saget won’t be there, but Wieleba will, along with a cast that includes Dick Black, Roger Norquist and others. The shit hits the fan, so to speak, at Moe’s Original Bar-B-Que, 3295 South Broadway, tonight at 7 p.m., and costs $5. For more information, check www.friednothing.com or call Moe’s at 303-781-0414.
