Phish

Sunday, October 10 through Tuesday, October 12, 1STBANK Center, 303-830-8497.

After an almost ten-year break from the Centennial State, Phish in Colorado is becoming a regular occurrence again, with four shows at Red Rocks last summer, two nights in Telluride two months ago, and now three nights at 1STBANK Center in Broomfield. These shows mark the first time the band has played a fall show indoors in Colorado since playing the long-gone McNichols Arena in November 1998; they also serve as the kickoff for the Vermont-based quartet's fall tour. Phish's Trey Anastasio, Mike Gordon, Jon Fishman and Page McConnell are also scheduled to appear at the Fourmile Canyon Benefit concert on Saturday, October 9, alongside several Colorado bands including Yonder Mountain String Band, Big Head Todd & the Monsters and the String Cheese Incident — though no official Phish set has been announced. Tickets are sold out for the Phish run and for the Fourmile Canyon Benefit, and despite efforts from the band and AEG to stop scalping, ticket are selling for upwards of $200 a night online.
