Who will be Colorado's next breakout band?

The founders of Next Big Sound believe the Boulder-based tech company can use online chatter to uncover the next big breakout bands. To test their system, we asked them to track down the most buzzed-about Colorado acts. And here are the results: the top 24 bands listing Colorado on their profile pages that are scoring increasing amounts of online activity. (Keep in mind that this breakdown is based on recent increases in fans, plays and what-have-you, not total amount of online attention, which is why local superstars such as the Flobots and the Fray don't make the cut.)

More then half of these bands/producers you listed have already "made it" in my opinion. Pretty Lights sells out EVERY SINGLE SHOW! (including Red Rocks) Same with String Cheese. Savoy and Vibesquad are moving up really quick, Cephalic Carnage has been a staple in the death metal scene for years, and does anything even need to be said about 3oh!3 and Breath Carolina?

I agree with comment one. How could the Heyday not be on here??? Someother local bands who I feel are making more noise then most of these bands on here and pulling more numbers. 303 MOVEMENT, based out of Denver and have played with some of these bands on this list and have pulled twice the crowds these other bands have! Another local band, NEMESYS? A local metal band who has pulled a ton of soldout shows and played with a number of huge acts? Alot of these bands are good. But if you base "known" bands off the internet, anyone can look like a superstar! I like the article idea but next time I think you should ask for the peoples personal choice, who are actually local fans! Thanks for reading
