A Season to Party

Get ready to shake your booty, drink till you drop and party like a rock star, because tonight is the grand-opening gala celebrating Denver’s swanky new Four Seasons hotel, and it’s going to be a hot one. “This is going to be a once-in-a-lifetime party,” promises Dana Berry, spokeswoman for the chic and sleek slumbering pad, which will be closed to the public tonight for the Four Seasons Grand Opening. “We’re only doing one opening party that’s to this scale. It’s going to be show-stopper, with amazing musicians, food and drinks,” she says. “The whole hotel will be rocking.”

The blowout, which will benefit four Colorado nonprofits, kicks off at 6 p.m. with tunes from OneRepublic, the chart-topping band from Colorado Springs, Denver-based ivory tickler Rekha Ohal and fifteen-year-old piano prodigy Joseph Eisele.

“We wanted to open with a one-of-a-kind splash, and at the same time embrace Colorado and make a difference,” says Thierry Kennel, the hotel’s general manager.

Tickets to the party, which will flow through several floors of the skyscraping hotel, at 1111 14th Street — and onto the poolside deck — are $325 for revelers over the age of 36 and $200 for those 35 and under. Buy them at www.fourseasonsgrandopening.com or call 303-952-0074.
