Not so, she says, with Astronomical Sunset, the story of a relationship torn asunder by a social-media scandal. The two people victimized by the scandal move to a small town to recover and try to piece their lives back together. There, they meet a couple of interesting characters who may not be what they seem.
Its kind of supernatural, says Friedman. I would compare it to a really good episode of the Twilight Zone or the X-Files.
The show opens tonight at 8 p.m. at Curious, 1080 Acoma Street, and is followed by a reception with the cast and director that includes food and drinks. The play continues its run through December 4.
