Talking Pants

Eve Ensler first performed her off-Broadway sensation The Vagina Monologues in 1996; since then, the series of monologues about vaginas and the women who possess them has turned into an international phenomenon. Perhaps it's because this little play that could speaks to so many aspects of women's experiences, or maybe it's because viewers can take home something different from the performance every time they see it — but whatever the reason, The Vagina Monologues is here to stay, and one local version is opening tonight at the Crossroads Theatre at Five Points, 2590 Washington Street.
