Dixie Longate is Tupperwares top saleswoman. But it didnt start out that way. She first got into Tupperware in 2001. As part of the conditions for my parole, I had to get a job to get my kids back, she says. Which is so stupid, cuz I didnt even want em. But they make you take em. Its so irritating.

Longate is a character that's been played (even off stage) by actor Kris Andersson since 2004, and Dixies Tupperware Party will stay in Denver for more than a month, offering stories, performances and alternative uses for the iconic plastic containers. I know that Denvers really famous for lesbians and runnin around real fast and exercising, says Dixie. So Im gonna try to do some of them things.
And shell be selling, because the show is also an actual Tupperware party: Attendees get a catalogue and can buy Tupperware products afterward.
