More About
Were encouraging people to come dressed up in holiday-themed costumes, so youll be running with Santa, Mrs. Claus, Frosty, and a bunch of elves and reindeer, jingling all over the place, says Arthritis Foundation spokesman Brad Jesse. A lot of people consider it a holiday tradition. We provide the jingle bells.
Youll also get a race bib and T-shirt and a nice jingling ringing in your ears to help you zone out on all the holiday Muzak carols being piped into stores over the next two weeks.
Registration for the run ($30 adults, $15 youth and seniors) starts at 8 a.m. in the gym at South High School, 1700 East Louisiana Avenue, and benefits the Arthritis Foundations Rocky Mountain Chapter. The money we raise goes to research for the prevention, control and cure of arthritis, and every little bit helps, Jesse says. The race starts at 10:15 a.m. For pre-registration and more information, visit www.jinglebellrundenver.org.
