“We do a Psychic Fair every month,” says Karen Harrison, owner of Isis Books and Gifts, “but, of course, the New Year’s fair is an especially big one, because everyone wants to know what the new year is going to bring them.” To help them peer into the proverbial crystal ball, the metaphysical shop will offer an array of services during the two-day fair, everything from palmists to tarot-card experts to spirit mediums, people who talk to angels, aura readers, pet psychics and one guy who will do your astrological chart for the whole year (he’ll only be there on January 2, though). Just have a quick question? The fair’s pay structure accommodates that, too: All services run you just $1 per minute, so you could get in and out for under $5 and save enough money to straighten out some of your credit. That’ll show Dad.

And there’s nothing to lose, since entrance to the fair is free. It runs from noon to 5 p.m. today and tomorrow at Isis, 2775 South Broadway in Englewood. For more information, call 303-761-8627 or visit www.isisbooks.com.
Sat., Jan. 1, 12-5 p.m.; Sun., Jan. 2, 12-5 p.m., 2011
