The roots of electronic art go back to the first art videos made in the 1960s. It was during that art-crazed decade that Icelandic-born, Czech-educated musician Steina Vasulka, who was then living in New York, created her first videos. The medium will be featured in Blink!, an all-electronic show opening this March at the Denver Art Museum. Steina who uses her first name only is one of the featured artists, but first she will be tonights featured speaker in the DAMs Logan Lectures series.
