She stands out not only as an important video artist, but as one of the first women in the genre, making her a true pioneer, says Jill Desmond, a curatorial assistant in the Modern and Contemporary department at the DAM and the organizer of Blink!. For the show, Steina will install a piece that explores the possibilities of electronic media to redefine our interactions with technology.
