The last time Reyna Von Vetts naughty alter ego, Cora Vette, attempted to pay homage to the Moulin Rouge with her team of burlesque Burlycute beauties, she received a cease-and-desist letter from the Moulin Rouge itself. We got sued by the French, she says, which is why the name of tonights performance has been changed to Burlycute Presents: Music of the Moulin Rude. If you saw the 2001 Baz Luhrmann film, then you know what to expect: music from the movie, plus some other French things we put in there, so in case you didnt see the movie, youll still like the show, Von Vett explains.

Youll see Von Vett performing Lady Marmalade all four womens parts, because thats what I like to do, she says. Vivienne VaVoom is reprising her Roxanne fan dance, which is what she competed for Miss Exotic World with this year, so its another chance to see that; its a fantastic number. La Petite Morte and I are going to be doing Sparkling Diamonds, and Anabella La Fontaine will be doing the Diamond Dogs gas mask number, as only she can. Frangelica Love will be doing a slutty Marie Antoinette to Like a Virgin, and Whoopsie Daisys coming back.
I think shes planning to be a french fry, she adds, cause thats how we roll.
