Name & Town, Molina's collaboration with New Mexico's Diles, is like a rhythmic trip through a psychedelic desert. The track "Meditation," for example, almost floats out to you with tribal-flute harmonies mixed in with hip-hop beats, eloquent DJ cuts and the deep, warm voice of Molina. As far as features go, Venus Cruz gives a standout vocal performance on "Again," maintaining a steady, soulful hook, while Molina spits lyrics that are personal and reflective. Molina employs ManeRok for the jazz-infused title track, in which Diles's production takes center stage; the song is a defiant ode to Denver hip-hop from an insider's perspective. Molina's flow could use some diversity, but the chemistry between the MC and the producer combined with the rapper's embodiment of hip-hop ultimately shines through.

Fresh young artist like Molina with strong intellectual knowledge is just what my generation needs!

All of Molina's jams are real, hard hitting pieces of art. I must admit that I have my favorites though: * 05 / CITY GIRL (cruisin jam, Molina paints a vivid picture with his words) * 07 / IN TRANSIT (on Repeat, the message is clear and real, the beat bumps, Diles gives an incredible New Mexico flavor) * 08 / AGAIN (my Ringtone, Venus Cruz and Molina flow together, smoothly, on this hit) * 09 / BELIEVE (messaging in the wording, phenomenal!) * 10 / FRIEND IN ME (another bangin hit, that twists words and beats into a masterpiece) The entire album is AMAZING! Listen to Name & Town by Molina with Diles, you are sure to find tracks that grab your attention =)
