Just in time for Passover, Susannah Perlman is bringing her troupe of Nice Jewish Girls Gone Bad back to Denver for a night of Judaic-themed comedy, music and burlesque. Because of the alignment with the holiday, Perlman promises a whole burning bush, Moses thing which entails a Go Down Moses, Fire Burning, by Sean Kingston, and Disco Inferno mash-up with pyrotechnics.

More About
Beyond the anticipation of indoor fireworks, Perlmans performance will offer the same intelligent, irreverent Jewish humor it has since she founded the variety show in 2003. I book women who go against the grain of what people think the stereotypical Jewish woman is you know, materialistic, vapid, explains Perlman. I book women with a depth to what theyre saying; they have a little bit more of an edge to them. Filling the bill this time are comedians Cynthia Levin and Sara Barron and singer-songwriter Naomi Less. With Perlman as hostess, the evening promises to be filled with elaborate costumes, a Lady Gaga Mah Jongg Face parody, and the first-ever Israeli dance striptease. Its not on YouTube, so I know it doesnt exist, laughs Perlman.
