Say Hello To Project Hello

One thing we like about Denver: The creative community sticks together. And now we have a free annual event, Project Hello, that embodies the spirit of said camaraderie by gathering local creatives under one roof to network and show off work and products. Celebrating its second year, Project Hello will spread out today at a new, more spacious venue — RedLine Gallery — and will feature 47 artists, crafters, designers, writers, photographers, musicians, performers and folks working in still other disciplines today from noon to 7 p.m.

While Project Hello is first and foremost a place for creatives to connect and perhaps collaborate in the future, organizer Sandra Fettingis notes that anyone is welcome to attend: “One of our goals is to remain friendly and open. We do want people from all walks to come in and meet each other.” Plus, she adds, it’s an excellent opportunity for the public to hunt down creative people offering services, from photographers to cupcake bakers.

Admission is free; RedLine is at 2350 Arapahoe Street. Find more information at http://projecthello.posterous.com.
