Before there was molecular gastronomy, before Rachael Ray and Bobby Flay hijacked the Food Network, and even before Anthony Bourdain penned Kitchen Confidential, there was Dish, Westwords annual culinary bash that extols the citys best bites, wine sips, suds and sounds. Tonights celebration, which takes place at the Ninth Avenue Historic Park at Metro State, a new venue for the seventeen-year-old event, gets under way at 7:30 p.m. (6 p.m. for VIP ticket holders). More than thirty of the citys top restaurants and food trucks like Euclid Hall, Beatrice & Woodsley, Le Grand Bistro & Oyster Bar, D Bar Desserts, Biker Jims and Manna From Heaven, all invited by Cafe Society scribes to participate will be dishing out delicious eats.
