One thing we emphasize at our libraries is that theyre interactive, Ledden says. Its more about ideas. We wanted our fundraising to reflect that, too. And how: Tonights benefit soiree sets off running with a series of food stations overseen by molecular-gastronomy king Chef Ian Kleinman, featuring latke and tamale bars, cocktails and a trademark liquid-nitrogen ice cream station. You cant miss the shattered gummy bears! Ledden exclaims. Brandi Shigley of Fashion Denver will emcee the event, and shell be bringing fashionista friends Trisha Hoke (who will sketch people and their outfits) and Francis Roces (who will create a fashion/art installation from scraps of fabric and embellishments chosen by party-goers). And there will be live music, dramatic lighting and, well, some things yet to be divulged.
