Truckasaurus

It's not surprising that the guys in Truckasaurus looked to the truck/dinosaur in The Simpsons for inspiration when choosing the band's moniker. There's enough humor in the lyrics to know that they don't take themselves too seriously, with lines about doing lots of blow with hookers on the go, feeding a girl to the dogs, having a body in the back yard and how the next morning is hell after eating at Taco Bell. Fuck the political stuff — these guys play fun, revved-up, old-school punk tunes in the vein of the Dead Kennedys, Circle Jerks and the Descendents. Maybe the six songs on I Can't Believe It's Not Better! don't quite have the muscle to crush cars, but they could easily fire up a pit.
