Johnny Morehouse likes numbers. In the past, he's presented joints like The Traveling Super 8 Sideshow, the 5 Minute Film Fest, and an art show titled 4X4X400. This time, the lucky number is ten. Morehouse describes tonight's event, the Ten Under 10 Film Show, as a "short-attention-span film fest." Films clock in at less than ten minutes in length and range from music videos to documentaries to experimental works.
"There are a lot of film fests out there that get programmed into one theme or another," explains Morehouse, "but this is definitely made for people who are interested in seeing new things." These new things include comedian Ben Kronberg's Super 8 film about a day in the life of Rollergirl Sylvia Bullet; Adam Reynolds's music video for local band Tin Horn Prayer; and Brandi Shigley's debut short, The End Film.
