Patrik Skoog brings techno skills to a secret party in Denver this weekend

Electronic music is like any other of genre of music in that the artists who stick around for decades tend to be the most innovative, the ones who constantly experiment and evolve as artists. Patrik Skoog is one such example; he's created hard techno under his Headroom project, made a name for himself as Patrik Skoog, and, since 2005 has adopted a new persona: Agaric, who takes a deeper, slower approach to the classic techno sound. Skoog has turned out more than 100 vinyl releases, and his tunes are clean and energizing; he takes his crowds meandering on a dance-floor journey that's gained the attention of such heavyweights as Richie Hawtin, Magda, Seth Troxler, Josh Wink and many more. He'll fly in from Berlin on Friday, May 11, to perform with Live Dudes (aka John Templeton and the Missing Link in their new act's debut), E2D2 (aka Tess and Deciprocal), Roger That, John Tyler and MikeRobot at a to-be-announced venue; keep tabs at Facebook.com/crowdpleasertechno.
