After clearing those plates, our server promptly brought our check — at which point we asked if we could see a dessert list. He shrugged. "I'd go down the street for dessert, honestly," he said. "But I guess the brownie's popular."
We ordered it, and he was right: We should have gone down the street. The dry, crumbly brownie had been topped with a scoop of vanilla and a sprinkling of peanuts and coconut to make it slightly Asian, I guess.

No, I didn't expect Phat Thai to be authentic, but I did expect it to be delicious. Aside from the pork belly and short ribs, though, Phat chance.
Had lunch there last week..the room felt very comfy, the service was perfect, and the food was superb! We had the spicy duck and the seafood drunken noodles. Can't wait to go back!
I thought the food was AMAZING when I visited. I've never had a bad experience and the waiters WERE ALL professional. They were very kind and helpful. The food was cooked with little to no problems. Three Times is a charm, and you should try the food as though it was your first time, not your second or third. Try the food with an open mind and maybe... just maybe... You'll like it more than you thought. ;)
I've been to Phat Thai several times, never had a bad experience... our whole family has loved it, and we've been delighted with wonderful service... maybe you're just bad luck.
Typically when a dish is labeled spicy, I would normally assume it is spicy. Just saying
