"I get bored if I do same thing over and over," Shigley explains, "and I was sitting at my desk on my bouncy-ball chair, and I thought, 'Oh, my God, it would be so fun to include fitness with fashion,' since summer is all about doing fun, outdoorsy things and getting in shape." To that end, she's cut back on the number of vendors involved and partnered with Tease Studio, her office neighbors on Bannock Street, to host a variety of fitness and dance classes in the basement ballroom of the Grant-Humphreys Mansion, where the market will be held. "They've probably never had fitness classes down in that ballroom before," Shigley jokes. "Mr. Grant and Mr. Humphreys will be excited about that!"
Break a sweat at Bounce from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the mansion, 770 Pennsylvania Street, and don't worry: The fashion shows -- three of them, produced Parisian-style by Justice Kwesi Kwarteng -- will still go on.
