This year, yoga advocate Erik Vienneau is taking his flagship event, Yoga Rocks the Park, to a whole new level. But current fans of the weekly yoga practice and concert have nothing to fear: The core idea, rotating instructors and musicians who provide a different vibe every week, remains the same.
"I cut the prices for vendor booths, so we attracted a lot more vendors," Vienneau says. "I'm trying to give it more of a wellness feel, so you can get your health and organic products, get a massage." He also tapped into a network of touring DJs who play yoga festivals. "I figure that people really come out more when it's someone they're excited to see who they don't get to see normally."
