For the Harlem Globetrotters, basketball is more than just a game; it's about connecting with a global audience. In 2012, the team went to Afghanistan to play for the troops for the first time in its eighty-year-plus history, and the ballers will play two games today in Colorado, where they’ll show off their multi-ball tricks and court-crossing antics.

"We're a little more about entertainment and getting intimate with the fans -- that's what really brought me to the Globetrotters," says TNT Maddox, the first female team member since 1993. A native of Colorado Springs, Maddox says her time with the Globetrotters has allowed her to step up her sportsmanship while reaching out to kids and adults through the team's anti-bullying programs and breast cancer awareness work.

Maddox alone will play in more than 100 games this season, as the team brings its trademark theatrics and fancy footwork to the U.S. and Europe during the You Write the Rules Tour.
