As magnificent as that sounds on its own, the evening's content runs even deeper: Denver e-textile artist Lynne Bruning will create a site-specific piece inspired by the museum's architecture that will be placed on the bridge between the DAM's two buildings; meet her there for a MakeARTtalk about her synthesis of traditional media and cutting-edge technology. Crafty guests can also try their hand at sewing with conductive thread in patterns inspired by Navajo blankets or join the folks from the Concoctory to make LED lanterns; a Tibetan-bowl concert and an art tour led by a hydrologist are also on the evening's schedule.
Enjoy Untitled from 6 to 10 p.m. at the DAM, 100 West 14th Avenue Parkway; all activities are included in the regular museum admission of $3 to $13. For information, go to denverartmuseum.org or call 720-865-5000.
