Illustrated with puppetry, song and dance, experimental theater and other diverse approaches, the bloody story of the Scottish lord corrupted by power will be carried out by Square Product Theatre, Band of Toughs, the Society for Creative Aging, Paul Fowler Music and TinHOUSE Dance Theatre. Since the acts are developing independent of each other, the results will be a surprise even to the performers on opening night.
“The piece encourages people to look at art with an open mind and to see the difference in the way people can present performance,” explains Act III director David Ortolano. “It encourages people to kind of take a chance on art and let it go into places that they never thought it would go into.”
