This just breaks my heart, I never knew about the land owners lawsuit. We were never told, never contacted, live right there.
How about just not building the Toll Rd? If everyone involved is not exactly positive or sure about the environmental impact, just don't do it. I hope very very intense testing & measurement is done & precautions are taken if the rd is built, there seems to be a debate back & forth as to really how much plutonium is in the soil. I would like to see a video taken of measuring plutonium in the soil in several different areas. It is really hard for the citizens in the area to know who is right. Who do we trust. We have children, we have pets, we have homes here. It is really hard when I hear people involved in this situation say that oh there's only a little bit of plutonium & it is buried deep, what about if your house is on an area the may have contamination and you dig a garden? Saying there is some plutonium is not like saying there's just a little bit of pollution in the air,not to worry. Really? Think about us and not the money. Pick a different location for the road if the state needs to build it. how about 93?
