“It’s definitely horror, but it’s got more of a mystery aspect to it,” says Ernie Quiroz of the Denver Film Society. “It kind of reminds me of old Twilight Zone episodes.”
Naturally, it gets worse for the hero before it gets better: The first people he meets are armed and suspicious and suffering from the same memory loss, and things get violent before long as they search for the source of their mysterious amnesia and that pile of corpses.
See Open Grave at 9:30 p.m. at the Sie FilmCenter, 2510 East Colfax Avenue, as part of the theater’s Friday Night Frights series. Tickets are $10, or $7 for DFS members. For tickets and more info, visit denverfilm.org.
