Praxis Grand Freaking Opening at Praxis Creative Space, 1120 West 12th Avenue (Friday, by donation) Check out Denver's newest arts and music collective at tonight's grand opening, which will showcase art from Sam Limanski, Talia Migliaccio and more, as well as performances by Chatterbox and the Latter Day Satanists and Hobo Pop, among others. Bid on items from the silent auction, eat snacks, and donate at the door to help this new community space keep its doors open.
Untitled #57: Darn at the Denver Art Museum (Friday, $10) The Denver Art Museum's monthly party is all about textiles tonight. Crochet and eat cookies, learn to weave with soumak knots, and find out how to mend torn clothes. All artfully. As always, Untitled is also a great way to see the DAM's vast collection on a happening Friday night.
