The folks at Rock the Earth are adept at aligning two seemingly disparate concepts — fantastic music and the environment, for example — for a great cause. And now the environmental-advocacy organization is using its skills to bring another element into the fold: fine dining.

Tonight’s Dine Out for the Earth features a six-course meal of dishes created by chefs Charlie Ayers, Tom Coohill, Troy Guard, Justin Brunson, Daniel Asher and Bob Blair; vegetarian and gluten-free requests will be accommodated for diners who reserve their tickets in advance. There will be brews by Great Divide, wine by the Infinite Monkey Theorem and cocktails by Roundhouse Spirits; DJ Russo will provide the tunes, and a silent auction comprising music memorabilia, art and special donations from local businesses will sweeten the deal.

Head to Coohills, 1400 Wewatta Street, at 6 p.m. for Dine Out for the Earth; tickets are $85 in advance and $125 at the door. Visit rocktheearth.org to purchase yours.
