"We're very proud to say our boards are built not just in the USA, but right here in Colorado in our Denver factory, and we're not the only ones," says Mike Gagliardi, snow-sales manager for Never Summer Industries. "If you love snowboarding -- or any of the snow sports, really -- there's never been a better time for Coloradans looking to support Colorado businesses."
That's the general idea behind Colorado Demo Days at Copper Mountain this weekend, where snowboarders and skiers will be able to try out sweet new rides from Never Summe's twentieth-anniversary collection as well as boards by Silverthorne's Unity Snowboards and skis from Denver-based Icelantic and Ski Logik, among others.
"Every one of these companies is run by people who are passionate about winter sports and having a quality experience on the mountain, and we all do all of our research and design right here on the best mountains in the world," says Gagliardi. "These boards will ride really well on any mountain from the icy East Coast to the Sierra cement out west, but they're purposely built for riding right here in the heart of ski and snowboard country."
