When Outdoor Divas set up shop in Cherry Creek and Boulder looking to outfit women for a world of adventure, the divas had role models like Kellie Erwin specifically in mind.
Find out why on Wednesday night (Aprll 21, 6:30pm) when Erwin stops by the Cherry Creek store to share some of her epic tales of adventure: As a mountain guide for Canadian Mountain Holidays and Berg Adventures International, she's bagged some big ones since setting out from her hometown in Aspen 35 years ago, including trips to the tips of Mt. Everest, Gasherbrum II, the Atlas Mountains of Northern Africa, and the New Zealand Alps, plus the first Nordic ski traverse of Denali.
She's also one of BAI's head guides on Africa's Mt. Kilimanjaro and Russia's Mt. Elbrus, and leads summer heli-hiking trips in the Bugaboos for CMH, in case you feel inspired to seek higher ground after her presentation. The wine and cheese event is presented by CMH and SheJumps.org. RSVP to [email protected].
