There's no shortage of "palooza"-heavy titles these days. By now the suffix should be, like, scrawled all over our cultural notebook. Adding to the frenzy is Breckenridge Resort's Holipalooza. The fest started yesterday, but today at 5 p.m., Santa arrives at Daniel's Cabin, 309 North Main Street, to lead a procession to the lighting of the hundred-year-old Town Tree at the Blue River Plaza. "This is our favorite time of the year in Breck from now until the end of ski season, and the lighting signifies the beginning of that time," says Petitt. Afterward, Jo Dee Messina caps the festivities with a performance at Main Street Station. All events are free; for more information, visit www.gobreck.com or call 1-970-453-5579.
