I've felt a little jerked around by Project Runway this season. This mostly has to do with how they've treated dear Chris, whose fashion sense has not always wowed me, but I still just love the guy. I mean, have you caught a glimpse of his portfolio -- the guy's all decked out in Princess Leia and Wonder Woman drag, for god's sake! You can check out photos of his fierce looks here.
First Chris is "auf," then he's back on and then -- like some cruel joke -- they tell him he is in the finals, but only if he can beat Rami at one last challenge. That last challenge aired last week, and I kept thinking that the Project Runway judges could not possible be awful enough to actually eliminate someone after making him spend three months creating an entire collection. Sadly, I was wrong. Love him or hate his human-hair skirts, Chris was officially "auffed" for the second time.
Will this be the last we see of Chris on Project Runway? I'm too dizzy from the judges' antics to bet on it, but after getting a glimpse of Christian, Jillian and Rami's collections on last week's episode, I am willing to bet that we will see some fabulous looks go down the runway at Fashion Week in Bryant Park on tonight's grand finale, airing at 8 p.m. on Bravo.
