Along with their usual zany antics, the Globetrotters also bring a brand-new element to the game: the four-point shot a mid-court shot from about 35 feet from the basket that the team debuted last month. Although Generals president Red Klotz noted in a Globetrotters press release that long-range marksmanship is a Generals trademark and the change will only make us stronger, theres little doubt the Globetrotters will maintain their prodigious win record. Then again, as anyone whos ever seen a Globetrotters game can attest, edge-of-your-seat competition is not really the point.
