Ten Best Fashion Events In Denver for March

March is here, and thoughts of all those spring fashions are keeping us warm. Events are also heating up the scene: This month you have a chance to be cast on Project Runway, shop exclusive collections at Denver department stores, discuss upcoming trends, purchase rare sneakers and attend a bridal blowout.  Here are our top ten fashion events in Denver for March....

10) Projection Runway Casting

Denver SneakerFest is trying to elevate the shoe game to new heights. Presented by Sick Kicks Society of Denver and Kickspawn.com, the buy, sell and trade event has been touring the country and will land in Denver on March 7. 6) Start Up Fashion Presents: Designer Discussions Denver

This month's Start Up Fashion discussion will focus on branding brilliance. The duo behind the success of Denver Style Magazine will tell you what it takes to create a brand in the often-crowded fashion industry.

This month head to Punch Bowl Social for drinks, apps, bowling and your chance to mix, meet and mingle with the Denver Style Magazine team. Get set up as a contributor, meet other style bloggers and bowl til you can’t bowl any more.  The event is free, but you should reserve a spot online here. 

3) Saint Laurent Trunk Show
10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, March 19 through Saturday, March 21
Neiman Marcus in Cherry Creek
Ladies Shoes, Level One

This trunk show will feature “the best spring 2015 party shoe,” according to Vogue. Saint Laurent  designer Hedi Slimane reboots platforms for the 21st century in this collection, and her interpretation is a bedazzled disco shoe for the modern woman.  

2) Denver Style Magazine Presents: Photography for Brands 
7 to 10 p.m. Wednesday, March 25
539 East Mississippi Avenue 

Denver Style Magazine is holding its first workshop on photography, focusing on braids. Although the event is geared towards photographers, boutique owners, Etsy creators and designers are encouraged to attend. Instruction will include photographing mannequins and photographing live models. You can register for $25 online here.

Bridal Bash is an evening of bridal fashion, beauty and design that supports Brides Against Breast Cancer. This event will give you a sneak peek into bridal fashion and beauty trends; you can enjoy snacks and a signature drink as you mingle with wedding professionals and engaged couples, then bid on once-in-a-lifetime experiences and hard-to-get items in the silent auction. The fashion show will feature gowns from Denver's top three bridal shops, hair and makeup styling from Denver's renowned Matthew Morris Salon and Skincare, dapper looks for the gentlemen from Sully & Co, and decorations and event design by Alan Perry Productions.
