Fetch 87 is introducing it’s new modeling agency with a new troupe of models strutting the runway wearing designs by Equillibrium Clothing and Potential Fashions. Unfortunately, it’s in the suburbs, but there are snacks and giveaways from Avanti Skin Centers to make up for it.

Thursday, June 14 Pandora Jewelry’s Bake-Off and Birthday Bash

Come celebrate Pandora’s fourteenth anniversary of selling all manner of cuteness, from handbags to cards to pretty trinkets. There will be tote bag giveaways for the first fifty people, shimmy lessons and a “shimmy off,” customized charm bracelets by Megan Kelley, special screen prints just for the party (bring your own fabric), temporary tattoos from the Roller Dolls, and cake. Lots and lots of cake!

Thursday, June 14 Riverfront Park Fashion Series

Kick off the first of 2007’s Rivefront Park Fashion Series with looks by Skye, free cocktails, nibbles by Lure and sounds by DJ Michael Trundle. The theme is “wear white” so break out all those eyelet dresses and floaty frocks that are so in style right now. This is definitely a “dress to impress” event.

Thursday, June 14 Thursday Hair Shows Rise is presenting the crazy, crazy styles of local salons every Thursday night through June. This week the designs are by Floyd’s Barbershop. No cover and $1 drinks from 9 to 11 p.m.

Saturday, June 16 Amy Kahn Trunk Show If you’re not at the Westword Music Showcase in the Golden Triangle, don’t miss Amy Kahn’s show at Sarah, the delightful boutique on South Gaylord. Amy will be on hand to help you design custom jewelry pieces and show off her entire collection. While you’re down there and being decadent, grab one of the sinful deserts at Devil’s Food Café up the block. Or if you’re in need of a mani/pedi, Tootsie’s is right on the stretch. Make it a day.
