Three things to do for free in Denver this week, July 14-17

Beer and Yodel Fest at Four Mile Historic Park (Wednesday, free) Did Germany's World Cup victory leave you hankering for more Teutonic fun? Dust off the lederhosen and get your ears ready for some accordion, because it's time to yodel with Central City Opera at Four Mile Historic Park. Don't forget to RSVP ahead of time for the free beer, brats and yodeling lessons.

Horse Show at National Western Complex (Thursday, free) It's rodeo time all over Colorado, but you don't need to head to the hills or ride out on the range to horse around. The Denver Queen City Horse Show and Centennial State Peruvian Horse Show is at the National Western Complex this week, and entrance is free.

Billy Wallace & Barbara Paris at Mercury Café (Thursday, free) End your work week by listening to Billy Wallace & Barbara Paris at the Mercury Cafe. The vocal/piano duo will start a weekly stint there tonight, and admission to this first set is free.
