The big mountain extreme skiing and snowboarding competition starts with a qualifying event on the Hanging Valley Headwall on Friday, February 25 (mandatory athlete meeting at the Snowmass Ticket Pavillion at 8:15 a.m.) and moves to the Burn Side Cliffs for Finals on Saturday on runs with names like Rock Island, XXX, and Triple Jump (spectators can catch the Finals action from the deck of Gwyn's High Alpine mid-mountain lodge).
