Damon Gold has put together a video montage of some of his more outrageous snow kayaking exploits. Supple backs are a must. If you think downhill racing on two boards strapped to your feet is crazy, wait till you see Gold's exploits. I do find it comical the Gold is wearing a PFD in all these videos; is he worried the kayak will suddenly melt the snow and he'll need to float for a bit?

In doing a little research, it seems that somebody in Colorado set the world speed record last year for snow kayaking, achieving a speed of 50 MPH. C'mon, you know you want to break it, right?
